We are looking for an experienced CAD / Revit Technician with a background in the water and wastewater sector to join our Mechanical Estimating and Design team in Cork city.
The role would suit a CAD Technician, Revit Technician, BIM Technician or Mechanical CAD Designer with experience working on engineering, water, wastewater, mechanical or process projects.
Key Responsibilities
Produce accurate 2D drawings, 3D models and P&IDs using AutoCAD and Revit.
Develop and maintain detailed Revit models in accordance with project BIM standards.
Prepare technical drawings for water and wastewater treatment plants and pumping stations.
Work closely with mechanical estimators, engineers and designers to develop project drawings.
Interpret design concepts and convert them into detailed construction and fabrication drawings.
Ensure drawings and models meet client requirements, project specifications and relevant industry standards.
Coordinate drawings and models with other disciplines.
Support clash detection and BIM coordination activities.
Maintain accurate drawing registers and project documentation.
Contribute to the development and improvement of CAD, Revit and BIM procedures.
Requirements
Previous experience as a CAD Technician, Revit Technician, BIM Technician, CAD Designer or similar.
Experience within the water and wastewater, mechanical, civil, process or engineering sectors.
Strong Autodesk Revit skills.
Advanced AutoCAD knowledge.
Good understanding of BIM processes, workflows and standards.
Experience producing detailed engineering drawings and 3D models.
Understanding of water/wastewater treatment facilities and infrastructure would be highly advantageous.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Desirable
BIM Level 2 or equivalent experience.
Experience with Navisworks and clash detection.
Knowledge of Uisce Éireann or UK water industry standards.
Experience working on mechanical/process engineering projects.
Pay: €30,534.97-€54,211.40 per year
