We're looking for a motivated Electrical Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team. You'll play a key role in driving critical site projects, focusing on enhancing our site's sustainability, reliability, and efficiency. Key Responsibilities
- Project Management: Lead electrical projects from concept through to commissioning and handover. This includes managing scopes, budgets, and timelines.
- Sustainability Projects: Act as the technical lead for key energy initiatives, including the installation and integration of new backup generator systems and site solar panel arrays
- Site Support: Provide technical expertise for site electrical infrastructure, including MV/LV distribution, switchgear, and control systems (PLCs, SCADA).
- Compliance & Safety: Ensure all electrical work adheres to strict cGMP, EHS, and industry standards. You'll be responsible for documentation, safety reviews, and quality control.
- Vendor Management: Collaborate with and manage external contractors, consultants, and suppliers to guarantee project success.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical or Mechatronic Engineering (OR)
- National Craft Certificate in Electrical Engineering
- Experience in an electrical engineering role, preferably within the pharmaceutical, biotech, or a similar regulated manufacturing industry.
- Demonstrable experience managing capital projects, particularly those related to power generation, distribution, or energy efficiency.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, safety standards, and automation principles.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
