About the Role
The Piping Stress Designer will Report to the director of liquid cooling and provide expertise in all matters relating to pipe stress design. You will work in conjunction with an expanding team to deliver on key company projects and innovation.
Key Responsibilities

Monitoring of integrity of piping design and providing technical expertise and assistance during design phase

Perform static piping analysis and define the supports in order to provide enough flexibility to the piping systems

Select, design and evaluate pipe supports

Develop stress packages as piping deliverables with understanding on continuations and required details on supports, guides, anchors etc.

Provide guidance to piping designers to support the model review and perform evaluations of nozzle and support loads
Qualifications, Experience & Skills
Education:
- HNC / Degree / Post Graduate Degree Qualifications in Mechanical / Building Services Engineering.
Experience:
-
4+ years of industry experience as Piping Stress Engineer, preferably in construction, pharmaceuticals, semiconductor or data centre industries

Proven track record performing flexibility analysis on various piping systems in accordance with applicable codes and standards on project specification using CAESAR II software.

Strong coordination skills with structural teams for support load calculations

Excellent understanding of BIM on working with a large BIM team for piping support configurations and piping layout reviews
