We are looking for a reliable and friendly Deli Assistant to join our team in a busy convenience store. The role involves preparing fresh food, serving customers, and maintaining high standards of hygiene and food safety in line with Irish regulations.
- Prepare and serve hot and cold deli food (rolls, sandwiches, breakfast items, etc.)
- Provide excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the deli area
- Follow all food safety and HACCP procedures
- Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering and rotation
- Handle customer queries in a professional and polite manner
- Work as part of a team to ensure smooth daily operations
- Previous deli or food handling experience preferred (but not essential)
- Strong customer service skills
- Good communication and teamwork ability
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends
- Basic knowledge of food hygiene (HACCP training is an advantage)
Pay: €13.50-€16.15 per hour
