Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Navan for Qualified and Apprentice Electricians. The position involves installing, wiring, and maintaining electrical systems and control panels in accordance with industry standards and company procedures. Daily tasks include troubleshooting electrical issues, performing routine and preventative maintenance, and supporting the commissioning of new installations. Team members collaborate with supervisors and colleagues on project work, follow safety protocols, and complete accurate documentation of work carried out. Apprentice Electricians will work under guidance, gaining hands-on experience, learning best practices, and progressing toward qualification.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in electricity and electrical principles, with the ability to apply this knowledge safely and accurately.
- Practical experience or training in electrical work, including installation, wiring, and working with control panels.
- Skills in maintenance & repair of electrical systems, focusing on reliability and safety.
- Ability to troubleshoot electrical faults, diagnose issues, and implement effective solutions.
- Background or education in electrical engineering or a related technical field is beneficial.
- Knowledge of applicable electrical regulations, standards, and safe work practices.
- Good attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to learn, follow instructions, and adapt to different project environments.
