The Role:
The Business Process Transformation Manager is crucial in driving, implementing, maintaining, and optimising key business processes and ensuring the company's strategic objectives are met. This role involves close collaboration with all Department Leads, Digital Delivery Lead and IT Manager to align digital Business, and IT strategies and meet the organisation's business growth objectives.
Your role as a Business Process Transformation Manager will be instrumental in driving the company's growth, development, and achievement of strategic objectives. Through your leadership and expertise, you will drive positive change and help the organisation adapt to the ever-evolving business landscape, building a strong foundation for the Groups growth.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
The primary duties and responsibilities of the Business Process Transformation Manager are outlined as follows:
Lead and manage end-to-end business process transformation projects, including planning, execution, and monitoring of progress.- Take a "fresh eyes review" at existing business processes and identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to optimize business processes.
- Work closely with various discipline leads and geographical teams to ensure any new or enhanced business processes meet the needs of current and future growth and development.
- Work across the Group of companies to ensure all requirements and needs are met in both the UK and Ireland as well as in Municipal, Industrial and Engineering & Technologies Business units.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive change and ensure successful implementation of transformation initiatives.- Conduct detailed analysis of business operations, identify gaps, and propose innovative solutions.
- Develop and deliver training programs to ensure smooth adoption of new processes and technologies.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of transformation initiatives, making adjustments as necessary.
- Ensure compliance with IMS Systems and best practices to ensure the upholding of ISO Standards, change control, training and internal/external auditing.
- Spearhead the initiative to transform paper-based processes into digital formats, enhancing accessibility and efficiency.
- Drive and champion Glanua's Sustainability Strategy endeavouring to delivery on Business Processes which will support Glanua's net zero goals and circular economy targets.
- Work closely with the Digital Delivery Lead, IT Manager, and departmental teams to prioritise digitisation projects and cloud adoption strategies.
- Manage the deployment of new applications, overseeing integration, user training, and rollout strategies.
- Maintain detailed documentation for application configurations, processes, and protocols.
- Manage end-user support and training, ensuring effective use of new application platforms. Ensure new systems and workflows are introduced in a planned and responsible fashion including trial runs, phased rollouts, etc.
- Assess and recommend enhancements to existing applications to boost efficiency and functionality.
- Stay updated with the latest trends in software and digital technologies to propose innovative solutions for continuous improvement.
- Project Manage the delivery of incremental process optimisation projects leading to overall transformation including, but not limited to, resource planning, supply chain engagement, action tracking, work delegation and self-delivery.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
The prior knowledge, skills and experience required of the Business Process Transformation Manager are outlined as follows:
- Excellent communication and organisational skills are essential.
- Enjoy working both individually and as part of a multi-discipline team essential.
- Bachelor's degree in business, quality, management, or a related field.
- 5 years of experience in systems management or business transformation roles.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills to effectively engage and work with cross-functional teams.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proven track record of successfully driving and implementing business systems and management.
- In depth knowledge of ISO accredited systems (Quality, Environmental and Health & Safety).
- Ability to adapt to change and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
