As a Kitchen porter you will:
· Ensure correct procedures are being carried out and bring any non-compliance to the attention of the kitchen manager.
· Maintain a good standard of cleanliness throughout kitchen and yard areas
· Carry out Assigned weekly cleaning tasks.
· Ensure stock levels of cleaning products are maintained and controlled in your own working areas.
· Maintain stores, ensure chemicals and equipment are stored in a correct organised manner.
· Bring any equipment failure issues to the attention of the head chef.
· Work as a member of the Kitchen Team. Build positive working relationships and good communication with your colleagues both in the Kitchen and FOH. Help maintain a positive and supportive working environment.
· Maintain accurate readings and records with weekly/Daily cleaning checklists.
· Adhere to health and safety procedures outlined by management.
