What you'll do:

Team Leadership & Operations – Oversee the day-to-day management of the cleaning team, ensuring schedules are planned, staff are supervised, and all areas are covered, including during absences.

Cleaning Standards & GMP Compliance – Ensure all cleaning and sanitisation tasks are completed to the required standards while acting as the main point of contact for GMP-related issues.

Health, Safety & Compliance – Promote a safe working environment by managing incidents, enforcing Health & Safety, COSHH, fire, hygiene, and company policies, and communicating safety lessons to the team.

Staff Management & Development – Recruit, induct, train, motivate, and appraise employees, maintain training records, and hold regular team meetings to support performance and engagement.

Resource & Inventory Management – Monitor stock levels, manage cleaning equipment, minimise waste, oversee budgets, and ensure equipment and stores are maintained safely and efficiently.

Administration & Reporting – Maintain accurate documentation, payroll, personnel records, Kronos scheduling, safety metrics, meeting minutes, and operational reports in line with company requirements.

Performance & Service Delivery – Deliver high-quality cleaning services that meet contractual KPIs, client expectations, and financial targets while continuously monitoring and improving performance.
