The Temple Bar Inn is a busy boutique hotel located in Dublin’s vibrant Temple Bar area.
We are looking to recruit a Part-Time Food & Beverage Assistant to join our dedicated F&B team.
Duties will include:
- Preparing the restaurant prior to opening for breakfast service
- Greeting guests, taking orders and providing friendly, attentive service throughout restaurant breakfast, dinner and bar operations
- Serving food, beverages and alcoholic drinks in a professional and efficient manner
- Preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to hotel guests, including cocktails
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation in the restaurant, bar and service areas
- Clearing tables and resetting areas during and after service
- Restocking supplies and assisting with stock control as required
- Handling cash, card and other payment methods accurately
- Assisting with opening and closing procedures and ensuring all areas are prepared for service
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year’s experience in a Food & Beverage role, with bar experience.
- Previous experience working with POS system
- The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills and a positive, friendly personality
- Strong communication skills with fluent English
- Ability to multitask, prioritise and work efficiently in customer facing environment
- Reliable, punctual and flexible in approach to work
Job Types: Part-time, Full-time
