The Connacht Hotel is currently recruiting a Part Time Pastry Chef to join our busy kitchen team. This is a great opportunity to work in a fast-paced, supportive environment where you can showcase your pastry skills and contribute to our high standards of food service.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and bake pastries, cakes, breads, and desserts to a consistent standard
- Support service for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and events
- Follow recipes and presentation guidelines set by the Head Chef
- Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards (HACCP)
- Assist with stock control and reducing food waste
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Pastry Chef or Commis Pastry Chef in a hotel/restaurant kitchen
- Strong pastry and baking skills with attention to detail
- Knowledge of food hygiene and kitchen safety
- Ability to work well under pressure and as part of a team
- Flexibility to work shifts including mornings, evenings, and weekends
