Butcher Assistant

This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a fast-paced, hands-on environment where you’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality products and excellent service to our customers. No previous experience? No problem — full training will be provided to help you succeed.
About the Role
You’ll help ensure the Meat Department runs smoothly and efficiently while maintaining the highest standards of quality, freshness, and presentation. You’ll also create a welcoming and helpful experience for every customer.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Deliver friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive customer service
- Prepare and serve meat products to customer specifications
- Maintain high standards of merchandising and product presentation
- Ensure stock is rotated correctly to guarantee freshness and quality
- Follow all SOPs and store standards on a daily basis
- Keep the department clean, organised, and fully compliant
- Stay up to date with new products and initiatives
- Share ideas and contribute to improving the department
- Embrace new ways of working and support team success
