About ROQ
ROQ Commercial Contracting is a growing civil engineering contractor delivering projects across Ireland, including utilities, earthworks, road construction, drainage, site clearance, renewable energy civils and infrastructure works.
Due to continued growth, we are looking to hire an experienced 360 Excavator Operator to join our operations team working across projects in West Dublin and the Midlands.
The Role
The successful candidate will operate modern excavators on a range of active civil engineering projects including earthworks, drainage, utilities and site development works.
This is a hands-on role suited to an experienced operator who can work safely, efficiently and to a high standard while working closely with site management and ground crews.
Main Responsibilities
- Operating 360 excavators safely and efficiently on live construction sites
- Carrying out earthworks, drainage, trenching and utility installation works
- Working around live services and following site drawings/instructions
- Assisting with grading, finishing and general site preparation
- Supporting crews during roadworks and infrastructure projects
- Carrying out daily machine inspections and basic maintenance
- Completing daily check sheets and reporting any issues promptly
- Following all site health & safety procedures at all times
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience operating 360 excavators on civil engineering projects
- Experience working on:
- Earthworks
- Utilities
- Drainage
- Roadworks
- Renewable energy projects
- Ability to work safely and independently on busy sites
- Good understanding of site operations and safe digging practices
- Safe Pass required
- Relevant CSCS ticket required
- Full clean driving licence preferred
- Reliable, hard-working and team-oriented attitude
Experience using GPS machine control systems would be an advantage.

Pay: €22.00-€25.00 per hour
