We are now looking for a fit, reliable, and hard-working Removals Porter / Van Helper to join our team on a casual, part-time basis.What You Will Do (Key Responsibilities)
- Pack, load, and secure household goods, furniture, and office equipment into removal vans.
- Unload items carefully at the destination and place them in the correct rooms as directed.
- Lift, carry, and manoeuvre heavy and awkward items safely up and down stairs and through tight spaces.
- Wrap fragile items, electronics, and furniture using protective blankets and bubble wrap.
- Provide excellent, polite, and reassuring customer service on-site during stressful moving days.
- Assist the driver with navigation, parking guidance, and keeping the van clean and organised.
What You Need (Requirements)
- Excellent physical fitness and the ability to lift heavy furniture safely all day.
- High reliability, punctuality, and a strong, positive work ethic.
- Fluent English and excellent communication skills to interact with customers and team members.
- Previous experience in removals, delivery helper roles, or heavy manual labour is a major advantage.
- A flexible mindset regarding daily finish times, as moving jobs can sometimes overrun.
- Living locally in Bray or having reliable transport to the Bray base for early morning starts.
