About the Role
Athboy Plant Hire is seeking to recruit an Admin/Accounts Assistant to join our team. This is a varied, hands-on role combining Accounts Assistant duties with purchase Ledger, admin and credit Control functions. The successful candidate will work closely with the management team and support the day-to-day admin and accounts operations of the office.
Key Responsibilities
- Purchase Ledger processing (supplier invoices, statements, and queries)
- Credit control and debtor management, including customer follow-up
- Assisting with month-end close procedures
- General accounts/administration and ad-hoc finance and office duties as required
- Updating and organising of machinery GA1 certs
- Vehicle management
Requirements
- Previous experience in an Admin/Accounts Assistant, Purchase Ledger, or similar finance role
- Understanding of accounts payable and credit control processes
- High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
- Must be fluent English speaking
- Own transport essential
Pay: Up to €35,000.00 per year
