As we continue to grow, we’re looking for skilled Mechanical Fire Suppression Installation Technicians to join our dedicated team.
Role Overview:
As a Mechanical Fire Suppression Installation Technician, you’ll be responsible for the installation, servicing, inspection, and repair of fire suppression systems, including mechanical components. You'll work across a range of systems such as gas suppression e.g., FM-200, Novec 1230, IG-541 & High pressure water mist systems. This involves installing stainless steel and gunbarrell pipe.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install and commission fire suppression systems in accordance with design drawings and regulations
- Perform scheduled maintenance and emergency repairs on fire suppression equipment
- Inspect systems and prepare compliance reports and certifications
- Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults and carry out necessary repairs or adjustments
- Ensure all work meets current fire safety standards and manufacturer specifications
- Maintain accurate records of service and installation jobs
- Communicate clearly with clients on site and provide excellent customer service
- Follow health and safety procedures at all times
Desirable Skills & Experience:
- Previous experience in mechanical installations
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems
- Familiarity with fire standards
- Ability to read technical drawings and wiring schematics
- Full valid driving license
- ECS/CSCS Card (preferred)
- Excellent troubleshooting skills
- Good written and verbal communication skills
