Qualifications:
Minimum of 1 year working in a childcare setting.QQI Level 5 Childcare Qualification or above.
Essential qualities include:
A commitment to provide high quality childcare and education services to children. Strong communications skills. Ability to co-operate with a staff team. Ability to plan and implement an age-appropriate curriculum. Uphold a high standards of honesty, ethics, and integrity. Highly motivated with a positive and compassionate outlook.
Duties include:
To provide a planned, structured, and age-appropriate activities for the children in our service. To ensure that the welfare of the children attending the service is paramount. To work as part of a team in the delivery of a high-quality service. To share the day-to-day responsibility for children attending the service, including their physical and developmental care.
Must be available between 1.30-6pm Monday to Friday. Term time basis with option to work mid terms where additional hours may be offered depending on service needs.
