We are looking for an Afterschool leader to join our team to work directly with the children and provide a caring, fun environment for them to do their homework and take part in daily activities. This job is ideal for students studying Teaching, Early Childhood Education, Social Care, Youth work or similar providing a great hands-on experience.
Some of the responsibilities will include ;
- Collections from school
- Helping with homework
- Organising activities such as arts and crafts, games, sports etc.
- Support positive behaviour
- Help with snacks and daily routines
Job requirements;
- Previous experience working with children
- Ability to use initiative and work as part of a team
- Be caring, fun and enthusiastic
- Reliable, energetic and good with groups.
- Completing Garda Vetting requirements and Children First training.
This job is available from September 2026 (once vetting is cleared) and hours of work will be 1.30pm - 6pm from Monday - Friday.
