The Children and Young Peoples Service within Avista provide interdisciplinary team supports, residential, family support and education services to 0-18 year old Children and Young People with complex needs and their families. The successful candidate is required to work as part of an Interdisciplinary Team that provide respite services to 0-18 year old children and young persons with complex needs. We have a full-time permanent vacancy for Clinical Nurse Manager 1 available in Blakestown CDNT. However, at times duties may be assigned across the three teams.
You will be joining a dynamic, family centred, interdisciplinary team with excellent access to supervision and support from Nursing management and CDNM. The successful candidate will be required to carry out clinical and administrative duties in management, care, and treatment of children with a complex disability, to ensure that the optimum standard of care is provided within the CDNT. The post of CNM 2 has a pivotal role in service planning, co-ordinating, and managing activity and resources within the CDNT.
Essential:
- Be registered with NMBI - RNID qualification preferred.
- Have minimum of three years experience at staff nurse level.
- Have excellent clinical, communication, interpessoal, planing, organization and time management skills.
- Certificate of completion for An Introduction to Children First- E- learning module.
- Full clean manual Irish driving licence.
- Proficiency in the English language.
Desirable:
- Experience working with children/ young peoplke with complex and/or Autism.
- Have the ability to work as part of an inter- disciplinary team.
Applicants should possess Level 2 behavioural competencies of AVISTA competency framework.
