We are seeking an experienced Part-Time Barista to join our team across two busy takeaway coffee locations. This role requires a confident barista who can consistently produce high-quality coffee while delivering efficient, professional customer service in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare high-quality espresso-based beverages to a consistently high standard.
- Deliver fast, friendly, and professional customer service.
- Operate commercial espresso machines and grinders confidently.
- Maintain coffee quality through correct espresso extraction, milk texturing, and equipment care.
- Process customer orders and payments accurately.
- Keep the coffee station, customer areas, and back-of-house clean, organised, and fully stocked.
- Replenish stock and assist with daily stock control.
- Complete opening and closing procedures.
- Follow all food safety, hygiene, and health & safety procedures.
- Work efficiently as part of the team to maintain excellent service during busy trading periods.
Essential Requirements
- Minimum 1 year's barista experience in a busy café or takeaway coffee environment.
- Excellent espresso preparation and milk texturing skills.
- Experience using commercial espresso machines and grinders.
- Ability to work efficiently without compromising coffee quality or customer service.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to remain calm and organised under pressure.
- Reliable, punctual, and professional.
- Flexible to work early mornings, weekends, and public holidays as required.
- Excellent attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness.
- Legal entitlement to work in Ireland.
Desirable
- Food Safety / Hygiene Certificate.
- Experience working in a high-volume takeaway coffee operation.
The Role
- Part-time position.
- Work at either of our two takeaway coffee locations according to business requirements.
- Flexible shifts, including early mornings, weekends, and public holidays.
