The Position
Due to continued growth in our audit portfolio and our commitment to maintaining the highest standards of audit quality, we are seeking to appoint an Audit Quality Manager.
This role will support audit quality initiatives, risk management, and audit methodology, working closely with engagement teams to promote best practice and consistency across audits. The successful candidate will play a key role in enhancing our audit quality framework and supporting high-quality audit delivery.
The role offers flexible working arrangements, including hybrid working options.
Key Responsibilities
- Support audit teams by responding to queries on audit methodology and risk management matters
- Perform real-time assurance reviews of in-progress audits, particularly within public interest entities (PIEs)
- Assist in identifying areas of non-compliance and contribute to developing practical remediation plans
- Monitor and follow up on implementation of audit quality recommendations
- Collaborate with senior management and partners on audit quality findings and actions
- Support audit teams during internal and external inspections
- Contribute to the development and delivery of audit quality training , technical briefings, guidance materials and general updates to firm methodology
- Stay informed on developments in auditing standards, regulation, and industry practices, sharing relevant updates with the team
- Provide support to technology and innovation teams in order to develop efficient auditing solutions that ensures quality and methodology requirements are considered
- Work with internal and international colleagues on quality, risk, and methodology initiatives
Promote a strong culture of audit quality, compliance, and continuous improvement across the practice

Ideal Candidate
- ACA (or equivalent) qualified
- Approximately 3–6 years’ post-qualification experience
- Strong audit technical knowledge with recent experience in an audit environment (financial services or large PIE experience advantageous)
- Experience operating at Assistant Manager or Manager level
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively within a team
