Are you a Registered Nurse looking for a rewarding career in plastic surgery, skin cancer care and aesthetic medicine?
Blackrock Aesthetics is a leading specialist private practice providing plastic surgery, skin cancer reconstruction and aesthetic treatments. We are looking for an enthusiastic, compassionate and motivated nurse to join our growing team.
Working directly alongside a Consultant Plastic Surgeon, you will play an integral role in caring for patients throughout their surgical journey, from pre-operative preparation to post-operative recovery, scar management and long-term follow-up.
Previous experience in plastic surgery or dermatology is desirable but not essential. We are committed to investing in the right candidate and provide comprehensive training in specialist procedures and treatments.
Responsibilities
- Pre-operative patient telephone consultations
- Post-operative wound care and dressings
- Care of patients following reconstructive skin cancer surgery
- Post-operative management of post operative breast and body surgery patients
- Assisting minor surgical procedures
- Managing nurse-led clinics and patient follow-up
- Liaising with the Consultant Plastic Surgeon
- Coordinating MDT meetings for skin cancer and melanoma patients
- Stock management and ordering of clinical supplies
- Microneedling and scar management (training provided)
- Operating BTL technologies including Emsella, Emsculpt and Lymphastim (training provided)
- Skincare consultations and patient education (training provided)

- Registered Nurse with current professional registration
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Friendly, compassionate and professional manner
- Ability to work independently and as part of a close-knit team
- Enthusiasm for learning new skills and developing within a specialist practice
