We are currently seeking an experienced Machine Driver / Ground Worker to join our road construction team based in Bandon, Co. Cork. The successful candidate will be involved in a variety of civil and roadworks projects, operating machinery and carrying out general groundwork duties to support site operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate excavators and other construction plant safely and efficiently.
- Carry out drainage, ducting, kerbing, and general roadworks activities.
- Assist with groundworks, pipe laying, and site preparation works.
- Follow site health and safety procedures at all times.
- Work effectively as part of a construction team to meet project deadlines.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in road construction, civil engineering, or groundworks.
- Valid Safe Pass and relevant plant tickets/certifications.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good understanding of site safety and construction practices.
- Full driving licence preferred.
