The Supply Chain Manager is responsible for end-to-end supply chain planning, ensuring the efficient flow of materials, products, and information from suppliers to customers. The role balances demand forecasting, production scheduling, Order management, inventory optimisation, and cross‑functional coordination to meet service, cost, and working‑capital objectives. This is an office-based role with the potential for occasional visits to customer sites.
Your Responsibilities:
- You will create and execute manufacturing plans that ensure product availability while minimising inventory and cost.
- You will oversee customer order entry process and ensure timely and professional handling of all customer communications
- You will monitor and improve service levels (OTIF) and lead times .
- You will develop and maintain demand forecasts through collaboration with Sales, Marketing, and Finance.
- You will lead Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP / IBP) processes to align demand, supply, and financial plans.
- You will manage inventory policies , safety stock, and stock‑turn targets across the network.
- You will coordinate with procurement, manufacturing and logistics teams to resolve capacity and supply constraints.
- You will identify supply risks and implement mitigation and continuity plans .
- You will drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, or advanced planning tools.
- You will prepare and present performance reports and scenario analyses for senior leadership.
- You will lead, coach, and develop planning and customer services teams.
- You will build and maintain strong customer relationships by maintaining consistent Customer focus.
- You will show a proactive and positive attitude towards l earning the technical aspects of leaflet and label manufacturing, while continuously developing commercial awareness.
