ABOUT US
O'Sullivan Bathroom Renovations is an established Irish renovation company specialising in high-quality bathroom and toilet facility upgrades for commercial clients. We work with hotels, office complexes, healthcare facilities, leisure centres, and retail environments across Ireland, delivering expert design, supply, and installation from start to finish. As we grow our commercial division, we are looking for a motivated Business Development Manager to drive new business and build lasting client relationships across Ireland.
THE ROLE
This is a field-based sales role focused entirely on commercial clients. You will identify and win new renovation contracts with hotels, offices, facilities managers, and other commercial property owners who need to upgrade their bathroom and toilet facilities. You will manage the full sales cycle — from cold outreach and site visits through to proposal, negotiation, and handover to our project team. This is a great opportunity for an experienced sales professional who enjoys being out on the road, building relationships, and closing meaningful deals.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Identify and target new commercial clients including hotels, guesthouses, office buildings, healthcare facilities, leisure centres, and retail environments - Build and manage a strong sales pipeline from prospecting through to signed contract - Conduct site visits, prepare proposals, and present renovation solutions tailored to each client - Negotiate contracts and close deals in line with agreed monthly and annual targets - Develop long-term relationships with Facilities Managers, Hotel GMs, Property Managers, and Procurement teams - Attend trade shows, industry events, and networking functions to generate leads - Work closely with our design and operations teams to ensure proposals are deliverable and profitable - Report regularly on pipeline activity, forecasts, and market opportunities to the Managing Director
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Essential: - 3–5 years of experience in B2B sales or business development - Proven track record of winning and managing commercial contracts - Experience selling into or managing accounts in hospitality, facilities management, construction, or fit-out - Strong negotiation and presentation skills - Self-motivated and comfortable working independently - Full, clean driving licence
Desirable: - Experience in bathroom renovation, interiors, or construction - Existing commercial network in Ireland (hotel groups, facilities managers, property developers) - Familiarity with CRM tools and pipeline management - Third-level qualification in Business, Sales, Marketing, or related field preferred but not essential --- WHAT WE OFFER - Competitive base salary (depending on experience) - Company vehicle - Mobile phone and laptop provided - 20 days annual leave - Supportive, experienced team with a strong reputation in the Irish market - Real opportunity to shape the commercial growth of an established Irish business
