Role Related Activities
To operate, within a team environment, a food manufacturing and packing facility in line with all stipulated regulatory, safety and organisational requirements.
Specific Tasks & Responsibilities
· To carry out all production activities from blending, filling, sealing, weighing, sieving, packing, labelling etc.
· Perform quality checks
· Take samples for testing
· Adhere to the factory Hygiene Rules
· Use appropriate cleaning utensils in production and clean all work areas during and end of each day
· Protect ingredients and products from contamination or anything which could cause harm.
· Complete all production and cleaning records.
· Ensure equipment is kept in designated areas.
· Ensure all waste (plastic, paper, powders and general waste) is stored properly in designated areas.
Other Duties required from time to time
-Can be required to work with a vartiety of different products in different production facilities in the business
Education, Experience
-Food Science/Safety & Hygiene Qualification Preferred
-Previous experience in food manufacturing Preferred
