As an Engineering Technician within our Technical Services function, you will be a key member of the Maintenance Team, supporting site operations across Fill/Pack or Bulk/Utilities maintenance activities. Your main objective will be to complete maintenance activities to high standards, ensuring equipment availability, GMP compliance, safety, and smooth production performance.
You will work closely with operations and other departments to diagnose issues, maintain equipment, and contribute to continuous improvements that optimise performance and reduce downtime.
Your primary tasks will include:
- Troubleshooting breakdowns, and completing repairs to agreed standards and run rates.
- Completing preventive maintenance activities and maintaining accurate GMP documentation, including work orders, logbooks, training records, and plant data books.
- Using CMMS to generate, plan, schedule, update, and close work orders, including spare parts information and equipment history.
- Supporting operations teams and cross-functional partners in resolving equipment, raw material, or packaging-related issues.
- Identifying and contributing to machine improvements and continuous improvement projects that increase equipment effectiveness.
You will also support technical training, participate in shift handovers, assist in maintaining appropriate spare parts stock, and operate relevant computer-based systems such as BMS, ePAS4, MyDoc, WinCC, FTView as required.
Flexibility and cross-training will be important, as the role may involve supporting maintenance activities across different areas of the site.
