As we continue to grow and innovate, we are seeking an enthusiastic Health & Safety Coordinator who will champion a positive safety culture and support our commitment to operational excellence and environmental sustainability.
Purpose of the Role
The Health & Safety Coordinator will lead and coordinate all aspects of health, safety and environmental compliance across the manufacturing site.
The successful candidate will work closely with Production, Quality, Engineering and all site personnel to ensure legal compliance, promote continuous improvement and foster a proactive safety culture. The role will also take responsibility for the management of site environmental systems, including effluent treatment and odour management.Your role:
As Despatch Manager, you are responsible for the smooth, accurate and efficient despatch of all goods from the Clonakilty site. You are also responsible for supervising the cold room and despatch staff and ensuring all processes are followed correctly.

Essential:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of Irish Health & Safety legislation.
- Experience conducting risk assessments and incident investigations.
- Strong communication and influencing skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively across multiple departments.
- Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities.
Desirable:
- Experience within the dairy or food manufacturing sector.
- Knowledge of BRCGS Food Safety Standards.
- Experience managing environmental systems, particularly industrial effluent treatment.
- Internal Auditor qualification.

Work Schedule
- 5 days a week - Monday to Friday with some Saturday work.
