The Department of Humanities wishes to recruit an Assistant Lecturer / Lecturer in Design. At SETU, product design education is rooted in studio practice and a strong heritage of applied design research through the dedicated research centre designCORE. SETU Design offers progression from undergraduate through to master's and professional doctorate levels. Practical, academic, and research excellence are at the heart of the SETU Design programmes.
The appointee will be expected to be research active, building on existing areas of research strength in SETU Design, and to have relevant industry and academic experience in the discipline of design. The Department of Humanities and the design programmes are expanding their portfolio, and the expectation is that the appointee will make a full contribution to the programmes, including supervision at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
