The Role
CTG 3D is looking for an experienced and proactive BIM Coordinator to join our growing team.
This is a fully remote position with responsibility for coordinating multidisciplinary BIM models, managing clash-detection workflows and supporting project teams throughout design and construction delivery.
You will help ensure that models and associated information are accurate, coordinated and delivered in accordance with project BIM Execution Plans, client requirements and CTG 3D standards.
The successful candidate will be comfortable leading online coordination meetings, challenging incomplete information and following issues through to resolution.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical and specialist BIM models throughout the project lifecycle.
- Create, maintain and review federated project models using Autodesk Navisworks.
- Set up and manage clash-detection tests in accordance with project priorities and agreed coordination rules.
- Review clashes to remove duplicates, identify genuine design conflicts and assign actions to the appropriate discipline.
- Lead BIM coordination meetings and communicate design and coordination issues clearly to project stakeholders.
- Prepare coordination reports, meeting records and model-review presentations.
- Maintain clash and design-issue registers, including ownership, status, target dates and evidence of resolution.
- Review Revit models for quality, accuracy, completeness and compliance before formal issue.
- Monitor compliance with the project BIM Execution Plan, modelling standards, naming conventions and information-delivery requirements.
- Manage models and project information within Autodesk Construction Cloud.
- Support Design Collaboration, Model Coordination, Docs and other relevant ACC workflows.
- Coordinate model exchanges between internal teams, external consultants, contractors and clients.
- Verify model coordinates, levels, grids, shared-coordinate systems and federation alignment.
- Support project teams with Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD and ACC workflows.
- Identify missing information, coordination risks and programme impacts at an early stage.
- Assist with project setup, model-health reviews and BIM quality-assurance checks.
- Track design changes and ensure relevant models, drawings and coordination records remain aligned.
- Support the development and continuous improvement of CTG 3D BIM standards, templates and procedures.
- Provide practical guidance and technical support to BIM Designers and project team members.
- Deliver assigned coordination activities in accordance with agreed project programmes and deadlines.
