We are currently seeking reliable and hardworking Parcel Sorters to join our warehouse operations team. This is a physically active role in a fast-paced environment, supporting the efficient sorting and loading of parcels for daily delivery operations.
Working Hours
- Standard shift hours are typically 03:50am – 10:00am
- Hours may extend during peak trading periods, including the Christmas season
- Contracted hours are normally approximately 25 hours per week, however hours can vary based on operational requirements
- Start and finish times are determined by management according to business needs
- A clock-in system operates on site and employees are required to clock in and out for all shifts
Duties and Responsibilities
Sorter duties include, but are not limited to:
- Unloading trailers
- Sorting parcels into designated bays and routes
- Assisting drivers with organising delivery bays
- Supporting van loading operations during morning dispatch
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
- Following all site procedures and health & safety requirements
Requirements
- Ability to work in a physically demanding role
- Good timekeeping and reliability
- Ability to work early morning shifts
- Manual handling training is mandatory and provided
- All required site training must be completed
- Previous warehouse or parcel sorting experience is beneficial but not essential
