We are looking for a Hotel Front Desk Agent to provide a warm welcome to our guests, to manage administrative aspects of guest’s accommodation e.g. preparing bills etc. and to liase with the other departments to ensure the best experience possible for our guests.
Hotel Front Desk Agent responsibilities include registering guests, managing reservations and providing information about the hotel and local attractions. Responsibilities
- Perform all check-in and check-out tasks
- Manage online and phone reservations
- Inform customers about payment methods and verify their credit card data
- Register guests collecting necessary information (like contact details and exact dates of their stay)
- Welcome guests upon their arrival and assign rooms
- Provide information about our hotel and local attractions and amenities
- Respond to clients’ complaints in a timely and professional manner
- Liaise with other departments to ensure special requests are met.
- Upsell additional facilities and services
- Contribute in a positive way to our guests experience in Ireland.
Requirements and skills
- Work experience as a Hotel Front Desk Agent, Receptionist or similar role
- Experience with hotel reservations software such as Protel would be an advantage
- Understanding of how travel planning websites operate, like Booking and TripAdvisor
- Customer service attitude
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
