Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Window and Door Fitter with a strong background in carpentry. This role involves both the organisation and installation (site-based) of high-quality uPVC windows and doors.
The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring all products are built and fitted to the highest standards, delivering excellent workmanship and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Install windows and doors accurately and efficiently in residential and/or commercial properties
Carry out associated carpentry and plastering work, including trims, liners, architraves, skirtings, and internal/external finishing
Measure, cut, and prepare materials to precise specifications
Ensure all manufactured products meet quality standards before installation
Adjust and fit installations on-site to ensure a perfect finish
Communicate professionally with customers, colleagues, and management
Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workspace
Identify and resolve issues in both manufacturing and installation using initiative
Ensure all work complies with company standards and health & safety regulations
Essential Requirements
Proven experience in window and door fitting and/or fabrication
Carpentry experience with strong attention to detail
Experience working with uPVC windows and doors
Valid Safe Pass and Manual Handling certification
Full driving licence (clean or minimal penalty points)
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Strong work ethic with a reliable and punctual approach
Good communication skills (verbal and written)
Problem-solving mindset and ability to use initiative
Desirable (but not essential)
Experience in uPVC window/door manufacturing or fabrication
Experience in the Irish construction industry
Customer-facing experience
