Job Summary
We are looking for a reliable and skilled Handyman / Maintenance Technician to perform general maintenance and repair work across residential and/or commercial properties. The ideal candidate will have experience in basic plumbing, electrical work, carpentry, painting, and general building repairs. This role requires strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repair tasks on buildings, equipment, and facilities
- Handle minor plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and painting repairs
- Inspect properties and identify maintenance issues
- Respond to maintenance requests in a timely manner
- Install fixtures, shelves, appliances, and other fittings as needed
- Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in good condition
- Ensure all work is completed safely and according to regulations
- Coordinate with contractors or suppliers when necessary
- Conduct preventative maintenance to reduce future issues
- Keep records of completed work and materials used
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a handyman, maintenance technician, or similar role
- Knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods
- Basic understanding of electrical, plumbing, and carpentry systems
- Ability to use hand and power tools safely
- Good physical condition and ability to lift heavy objects
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Good communication and time-management skills
- Valid driver’s license preferredWorking Conditions
