We are looking for a reliable, motivated Pharmacy Technician who is already living in Cork and has excellent English (native level or C1/C2 certified).
A formal Pharmacy Technician qualification or experience in Irish community pharmacy is an advantage, but the most important requirement is that you are highly motivated, eager to learn, and committed to working to a high standard.

About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Pharmacy Technician to support our long‑term care (LTC) services for nursing homes.
You will work closely with our Senior Technician, who will retire later this year, and you will receive structured training and shadowing during the first months to ensure a smooth and confident transition into the role.
This position is ideal for someone who wants to grow professionally and become a key part of a supportive team.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and dispense medications for nursing home residents with accuracy and care
- Work with nursing home teams on Kardex, MAR charts, therapy updates, and medication changes
- Maintain high standards of accuracy, safety, and documentation in all dispensing activities
- Provide respectful, professional service to elderly and vulnerable patients
Candidate Profile
- Pharmacy Technician qualification or experience in Irish pharmacy practice is beneficial but not essential
- Understanding of Irish healthcare schemes (GMS, DPS, LTI, HD) is an advantage
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Good knowledge of pharmacy software (experience with MPS is an advantage)
- Ability to work independently while being supported by a multidisciplinary team
- Fluent English (native level or C1/C2 certified)
- Must already live in Cork City or nearby areas
- Above all: motivated, willing to learn, and committed to high‑quality work
