About the Role
Brampton Care is seeking an organised and detail-oriented Compliance & Onboarding Officer to support our HR and Recruitment team. This role is central to ensuring all recruitment, onboarding, and compliance processes are completed efficiently and in line with healthcare regulations and company standards.
The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the recruitment journey from candidate onboarding through to compliance clearance, ensuring a positive and professional experience for all new hires.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the HR department with recruitment administration and onboarding processes
- Ensure all employee files and compliance documentation are complete and up to date
- Monitor and manage pre-employment checks including references, Garda Vetting, qualifications, and right-to-work documentation
- Maintain accurate HR records and databases with a high level of confidentiality
- Liaise with candidates, managers, and external agencies regarding onboarding requirements
- Assist in ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and internal policies
- Support audits and inspections relating to recruitment and staff compliance
- Work closely with management to meet recruitment deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Provide general administrative support to the HR team as required
Requirements
- Previous experience in healthcare recruitment, HR administration, or compliance is essential
- Strong understanding of HIQA standards and healthcare compliance requirements
- Excellent organisational skills and strong attention to detail
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and HR systems
- Ability to handle confidential information professionally and sensitively
- A proactive and flexible approach to work
Desirable
- Experience working within the healthcare or nursing home sector
- Knowledge of onboarding processes for healthcare staff
- Relevant HR or administration qualification
