We are looking for a passionate and reliable Assistant Baker to join our café team in Our Bakery Little RockSalt in Blackrock. This role is focused on producing high-quality fresh breads, pastries, and sandwich components daily, ensuring consistency, freshness, and excellent presentation.
You’ll play a key part in delivering a premium food offering by supporting the baking process from prep through to finished product.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the daily production of artisan breads (e.g. sourdough, milk breads, rolls)
- Prepare and bake a range of pastries (e.g. croissants, danishes, savoury pastries)
- Support the preparation of fresh sandwich fillings and builds
- Weigh, mix, shape, proof, and bake products to specification
- Ensure all products meet quality, taste, and presentation standards
- Maintain a clean, organised, and food-safe working environment
- Follow HACCP and food safety procedures at all times
- Assist with stock rotation, ingredient prep, and ordering support
- Work closely with the team to ensure smooth daily service
- Support early morning production schedules when required
Skills & Experience
