About the Role
Holland Safety is seeking a Health & Safety Advisor to support our growing portfolio of construction projects across Ireland. Working alongside senior consultants, you will assist clients in managing their health and safety responsibilities on active construction sites, ensuring compliance with Irish health and safety legislation and industry best practice.

This role involves significant engagement with Spanish-speaking clients, so fluency in both Spanish and English is desirable. As the position requires regular on-site visits and collaboration with our team, candidates must be based in Ireland.
Key Responsibilities
· Assist in developing and improving Health & Safety Management Systems, including safety documentation and emergency response procedures, under the guidance of senior consultants.
· Conduct comprehensive safety audits, risk assessments, and inspections across diverse sites, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and company standards.
· Prepare and present detailed safety reports, including recommendations, gap analysis, and action plans for ongoing client improvement.
· Provide on-site safety supervision, overseeing project-specific requirements and ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
· Develop and manage documentation to ensure compliance with both internal and external standards.
· Advise clients on regulatory compliance, best practices, and emerging trends, fostering proactive safety strategies.
· Provide training and tool-box talks to client teams, ensuring the development of a culture of safety at all levels of the organisation.
· Stay informed on current safety regulations, industry standards, and innovations, helping clients stay ahead of regulatory changes.
Requirements:
· Level 7 Qualification (or similar) in Health & Safety or a relevant equivalent qualification.
· Minimum 1 year of experience as a safety officer or advisor within the construction industry.
· Fluent in written and verbal English.
· Experience in Construction, Manufacturing or Plant and Machinery industries.
· Full, clean EU driver’s license (for site visits and client engagements).
Ideal Candidate:
· A qualified safety advisor with construction or similar experience.
· Well-practised in client-facing roles ensuring safety protocols are met effectively.
· Exceptional communication skills, including experience in preparing client-facing and attending client meetings.
· Strong ability to problem-solve and manage escalations to resolve client challenges efficiently.
· Flexible and self-driven, able to manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision.
Pay: €36,000.00-€40,000.00 per year
