OTC Sales Assistant – Leonards Corner Pharmacy
We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced OTC Sales Assistant to join our friendly and professional team.
About the Role
As an OTC Sales Assistant, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and supporting the day-to-day running of the OTC area. You will work closely with our pharmacists and pharmacy team to ensure customers receive a professional, helpful and welcoming service.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing friendly and professional customer service.
- Advising customers on OTC medicines, healthcare and pharmacy products within your scope of practice.
- Identifying customers' needs and referring them to the pharmacist when appropriate.
- Maintaining excellent product knowledge and keeping up to date with new products and promotions.
- Replenishing stock and maintaining an organised and attractive OTC area.
- Checking prices, stock levels and product displays.
- Assisting with deliveries, stock rotation and general pharmacy duties.
- Supporting promotional activities and merchandising.
- Maintaining a clean, tidy and professional pharmacy environment.
- Working effectively as part of a busy pharmacy team.
Requirements
- Previous experience working in a busy pharmacy OTC environment is essential.
- Minimum 1 year of pharmacy OTC sales experience preferred.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Good knowledge of OTC medicines and pharmacy products.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Friendly, approachable and professional manner.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow pharmacy procedures.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including evenings and weekends.
