This summer we're opening Omos - a 16-bedroom guesthouse and 40-seat restaurant set on 4.2 acres just outside the heritage town of Abbeyleix, County Laois.
The name Omos - meaning honour, duty, and respect - reflects our intention behind the project: to create something lasting and meaningful, something with soul. A guesthouse and restaurant that feel like they belong - that reflect our neighbourhood and community, and that generously welcome curiosity, craft, and discovery.
Omos will pride itself on our standards, uniqueness and our guest experience.
We're looking for reliable and hardworking Kitchen Porters to support our busy kitchen team.
Key Responsibilities:

Washing dishes, utensils, pots, and kitchen equipment

Keeping kitchen and storage areas clean, organised, and hygienic

Assisting our Chefs when needed

Emptying bins and maintaining waste disposal areas

Following all food safety and health & safety procedures

Helping with deliveries and stock organisation
What We're Looking For:

Strong work ethic and positive attitude

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Good attention to cleanliness and hygiene

Team player with good communication skills

Previous kitchen experience is helpful

Full drivers licence. Living locally or the ability to commute to Abbeyleix

Ability to work full time in the Republic of Ireland
