As a Quality Manager, you will be responsible for leading, developing and continuously improving quality management systems, quality assurance activities and quality control processes across MH Engineering's manufacturing, off-site fabrication and project delivery operations. Working closely with Project Managers, Mechanical Engineers, Workshop Personnel, Welding Inspectors and Site Teams, you will provide leadership and technical expertise to ensure projects and fabricated products are delivered safely, efficiently and in accordance with client requirements, industry standards and company quality objectives. You will play a key role in promoting a proactive quality culture throughout the business while supporting operational teams to achieve right-first-time project delivery.

Responsibilities-
Support and lead MH Engineering's Quality Team, including Project Quality Engineers and Welding Inspectors.

Promote a proactive quality culture throughout the organisation and drive accountability for quality performance at all levels.

Maintain and continuously improve the Quality Management System in accordance with ISO 9001 requirements.

Develop and implement quality procedures, standards, inspection processes and work instructions across manufacturing, fabrication and project operations.

Manage internal audit programmes, external certification audits and management review activities.

Lead corrective and preventive action programmes, ensuring effective investigation, resolution and closure of non-conformances.

Support document control activities relating to quality records, procedures and project quality documentation.

Ensure lessons learned and continuous improvement initiatives are captured and implemented across projects and operational activities.

Lead quality activities across MH Engineering's manufacturing and off-site manufacturing facilities, ensuring compliance with quality standards and customer requirements.

Develop and oversee workshop inspection programmes, material traceability systems and calibration programmes.

Monitor fabrication quality performance and implement quality improvement initiatives to support operational excellence.

Oversee welding quality programmes and ensure compliance with approved welding specifications, procedures and quality requirements.

Review welding documentation including WPS, PQR and welder qualification records.

Monitor welding inspection activities and support investigations relating to fabrication and welding quality issues.

Develop project quality plans and review Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) to ensure project quality requirements are achieved.

Monitor project quality compliance through audits, inspections and quality reviews.

Support project teams during client inspections, quality audits and hold-point activities.

Oversee the management, tracking and closure of NCRs and quality-related project actions.

Ensure turnover and completion documentation is accurately prepared and aligned with client requirements.

Act as the primary quality point of contact for clients, suppliers and external stakeholders.

Attend project meetings, quality reviews and client-facing activities as required.

Conduct supplier quality assessments and support supplier quality improvement initiatives.

Analyse quality performance metrics and develop reporting dashboards to support operational decision-making.

Identify quality risks, opportunities and improvement initiatives to support successful project delivery.

Build strong working relationships with clients, suppliers and internal stakeholders across all business functions.

Support continuous improvement initiatives and promote quality best practice throughout the organisation.
Requirements-
Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering, Quality Management or a related discipline.

Proven experience in a Quality Manager, Quality Engineer or similar role within the mechanical, manufacturing, fabrication, construction or engineering sector.

Strong experience managing and maintaining ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems.

Experience leading quality teams and supporting the development of quality personnel.

Strong understanding of fabrication, manufacturing, installation and project delivery activities.

Experience managing non-conformance, corrective action and preventive action processes.

Knowledge of welding quality standards, welding inspection processes and fabrication quality requirements.

Experience developing and implementing quality procedures, audits and continuous improvement initiatives.

Strong understanding of quality assurance, quality control and inspection methodologies.

Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills.

Strong analytical, organisational and problem-solving abilities.

Experience working with clients, suppliers and multidisciplinary project teams.

Experience within pharmaceutical, data centre, industrial or large-scale commercial construction projects is advantageous.

Proficient in Microsoft Office and quality management software applications.
