Job purpose
To develop a forecast pipeline of customer and project related opportunities within the core areas of construction plant hire, powered access and small tools.
To support and develop existing and previous customers and work with the sales hire teams to convert sales opportunities.
To support and develop key account customers and to maximise all cross hire sales opportunities.
To support and actively promote the company’s products and services, including training and new product developments.
Key skills & Duties
- Build and manage a pipeline of construction projects
- Win new business and develop key accounts
- Work closely with hire desk teams to convert opportunities
- Promote full hire solutions across plant, access & tools
Qualifications & Experience
5 years previous experience of working in sales and business development environment within the construction supply chain sectors, ideally experience in the plant and powered access hire industry.
Excellent customer service skills.
Experience of working with CRM cloud based platforms.
Individual profile:
- Proven track record in B2B sales (construction or hire preferred)
- Strong commercial mindset and ability to close deals
- Comfortable managing pipeline and CRM systems

DHS Complete Hire, currently has 2 branches, Drogheda and Dublin (Longmile Road) and our customer base is throughout Leinster. The role will be based from the Dublin branch
Potential Customers:
Our customers include professional construction companies, specialist sub contractors, civil engineering, mechanical and electrical/HVAC contractors, facilities management companies, manufacturing companies, warehousing and distribution, agricultural contractors, local authorities and semi state organisations.
Other benefits:
€50K to €60K base + uncapped commission (OTE €80K+)
