Our client, a diverse Kerry-based practice, is seeking a Trainee or Part Qualified Accountant. This role offers hands-on experience across a broad client base, including retail, hospitality, and agriculture, providing a full-picture view of the accounting lifecycle.

Preparing year-end accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and SMEs.

Managing VAT, RCT, and Income Tax returns.

Bookkeeping and payroll processing using cloud software (Xero/QuickBooks).

Acting as a point of contact for client queries and compliance.

Supporting audit exemptions and statutory filings.

Progressing toward ACA, ACCA, CPA, or ATI qualification.

Relevant degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business.

Strong numerical accuracy and communication skills.

Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software.

Full driving license preferred for occasional client visits.

Direct mentorship from the Practice Principal.
