We are looking for top calibre candidates to join our winning team. We are currently seeking to recruit a Qualified MOTOR Technician/Mechanic to join us. A current Irish Work Permit/Visa is a pre requisite for this role. This is an amazing opportunity to work with Ireland's best selling car brand.
In this role you will be working in a very busy workshop with a team of dedicated professionals. You will be responsible for ensuring that customer vehicles are maintained and repaired to a high standard in accordance with Toyota guidelines.
This role is unsuitable for a Maintenance Technician or Mechanical Engineer, and applicants must hold an Irish working visa or are entitled to work in Ireland.
Motor Technician qualification or part qualification is a pre requisite. Please do not apply if you do not fulfill these requirements.
Skills & Competencies
- Be a qualified or part qualified Motor Vehicle Technician
- Experience with all aspects of vehicle repairs and servicing, franchise dealer experience preferable.
- High quality work ethic with attention to detail being of utmost importance.
- Have excellent communication & IT skills, competent at identifying and clearly explaining additional work required and using our VHC system to record video and photos to liaise with the customer.
- Be process driven and have the ability to clearly complete all job card write-ups, for all jobs, with a thorough understanding of brand warranty requirements, including back-up documentation required.
- Hold a full, valid and current driving licence
- Possess strong organisational skills.
- Demonstrate a proven ability to work to high standards, and follow direction well.
- Have good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Be diligent, with a flexible approach to work.
- Have the ability to work on their own initiative and as part of a team.
- Be motivated, and have enthusiasm and willingness for progression.
- Have good oral and written English.
- Execute assigned tasks in a timely manner and work well under pressure.
Maintaining and developing your skills as a Motor Technician is an important part of your role at Grandons .
Toyota have a comprehensive programme of training to ensure Toyota Technicians are the best in their field and Grandons Toyota will fully support your development in this regard.
The ideal candidate will Ideally have previous experience working with a Franchised Motor Dealer but not essential .
