The Opportunity
The role is responsible for the compliant and effective management of frameworks and contracts. This role sits within the Offshore PMO and supports the full framework lifecycle, ensuring adherence to public procurement legislation, internal governance requirements, and value for money across offshore phase 1 and phase 2 programmes.
The role involves the contract management of complex, large scale offshore frameworks while adhering to established governance and controls. The offshore frameworks support programmes and projects across their entire life cycle – from project initiation, through construction, commissioning/user acceptance testing, go live and right up to project close/lessons learnt.
The successful candidate will fulfil a senior lead contract manager function and ensure that offshore projects are delivered in accordance with EirGrid statutory obligations, standards and policies.
The role is based in Dublin or Cork.
The Team
The Chief Transformation & Technology Office (CTTO) is responsible for driving innovation, digital transformation, and strategic technology delivery across EirGrid. It plays a central role in enabling the organisation to meet its decarbonisation and infrastructure goals through the deployment of modern systems, data intelligence, and programme governance frameworks.
The Offshore Programme Management Office (PMO) coordinates offshore regulatory reporting requirements, audit/compliance, risk management, and monitoring/reporting of Offshore CapEx and OpEx delivery. It also supports performance reporting and benefits tracking aligned to strategic objectives across the offshore portfolio and key stakeholders.
The integrated planning roadmap establishes an IPO as the central governance and delivery engine for planning, cost, risk, and reporting—supported by standards, cadence (Rhythm of Business), Control Tower reporting, and OPC rollout.
