OEM - Teleflex Medical OEM is a leading global provider of product development and production services for medical device manufacturers. The position is responsible for general ledger related reporting duties for North American entities.

- Assist in preparation of US GAAP accounts and month end close
- Completion and review of Balance sheet reconciliations including Bank accounts.
- Ensure the presentation to business owners of financial data on a timely and accurate basis.
- Supporting the preparation of forecasts and annual plans.
- Preparation of detailed Cost Centre & payroll analysis
- High degree of Collaboration with the relevant OEM sites.
- Ensure the integrity and SOX compliance of financial, administrative and legal controls in accordance with entity policy and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with VAT, tax and fiscal requirements
- Prepare the information requested by internal and external auditors
- Ensuring the integrity of internal financial controls
- Ad hoc tasks as required to support Finance Function
- Back up for other colleagues where necessary
- Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
- Business Degree or Diploma including Accounting
- Previous Experience in a Shared Service Centre
- SAP user level experience would be ideal but not required.
- Strong sense of discretion and confidentiality.
- Excellent IT skills with a working knowledge of Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong attention to detail with good time management skills
- The ability to work effectively under pressure and to strict deadlines.
- A friendly enthusiastic, professional and welcoming manner.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate with employees of all levels.
- Flexible and adaptable work ethic.
- Able to work on own initiative and as a team player.
- Good organisational skills with cultural awareness and sensitivity.
- Good analytical and problem solving ability
- Ability to manage multiple programs and projects effectively and efficiently
- Both builder or designer experiences advantageous
