The Electrical Project Manager is responsible for the successful delivery of substation projects from initial planning through construction, commissioning and handover while ensuring safety, quality, programme and commercial targets are achieved.
Responsibilities:
Manage multiple substation construction projects.
Develop project programmes and resource plans.
Control project budgets and commercial performance.
Manage subcontractors and specialist vendors.
Ensure compliance with client, statutory and HSE requirements.
Lead project meetings and stakeholder engagement.
Monitor project progress and KPI performance.
Manage risk, change control and contract administration.
Oversee commissioning and energisation activities.
Ensure successful project handover and close-out documentation.
Requirements:
Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering or Project Management.
Minimum 5 years' experience managing electrical infrastructure projects.
Experience in HV substation delivery.
Knowledge of ESB Networks or EirGrid project environments.
PSCS training desirable.
Leadership and team management.
Commercial and contractual awareness.
Strong planning and organisational skills.
Client relationship management.
