Health & Safety Officer | Dublin & Meath
A well-established construction contractor is seeking a Health & Safety Officer to join its expanding operations team, supporting a variety of projects across Dublin and the wider Leinster region.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys a site-based environment and wants to play a key role in maintaining strong health, safety, and compliance standards across multiple live construction projects.
Responsibilities
- Conduct regular site inspections and safety audits
- Monitor compliance with current Irish Health & Safety legislation
- Support site management teams with day-to-day safety requirements
- Assist with RAMS, toolbox talks, incident reporting, and corrective actions
- Promote a positive and proactive safety culture across projects
- Maintain accurate H&S documentation and records
- Liaise with subcontractors and site personnel to ensure safe working practices are followed
Requirements
- Previous experience within the construction sector
- Experience in a Health & Safety position preferred
- Relevant Health & Safety qualification
- Strong understanding of Irish construction safety regulations
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Full driving licence required
