Camsaw a leading Garden Machinery Distribution business based in Portarlington Co Laois are recruiting for a Warehouse Operative to join our busy warehouse. This is a challenging and busy role within a growing and thriving business.
Reporting to the Head of Group Operations you will be responsible for the following:
· Picking and Packing Product and stacking on pallets with some heavy lifting.
· Taking in stock and checking against delivery dockets/invoices.
· Ensuring the warehouse is kept tidy at all times.
· To support drivers during the loading and unloading process.
· Report any damaged goods to the warehouse supervisor.
· Fork Lift driving
· Ad hoc duties.
SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
· Excellent communications skills, fluent both written & spoken English is required.
· Ability to multitask and prioritise
· Manual handling and Forklift licence would be an advantage
· Be able to work in a busy environment to tight deadlines.
· Previous experience in Distribution/ picking & Packing Industry
· Must be a team player, reliable, and a quick learner
· Strong awareness of Health and Safety requirements
