Location: Arklow, Ireland
Salary: DOE - €32,947.20 base (€15.84 per hour) or €35,380.80 base (€17.01 per hour) + €7,072 shift allowance (€3.40 shift premium per hour)
Hours: 40 hours per week (rotating shifts: 6am–2pm / 2pm–10pm with two 30-minute paid breaks)
About the Role
Bostik is looking for a motivated Factory Operative to join our team. You will play a key role in ensuring the safe, efficient, and high-quality production of our products, working within a collaborative team environment.
You’ll be working across a variety of manufacturing and filling processes, ensuring that production targets and customer expectations are met to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain manufacturing and filling lines to a high standard
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety and environmental policies
- Produce, mix, and package products across a wide range of SKUs
- Carry out manual and automated filling, bagging, and mixing processes
- Monitor equipment performance and carry out basic fault-finding
- Conduct quality checks and support testing processes
- Maintain excellent housekeeping standards (“clean as you go”)
- Assist with machine maintenance (e.g. greasing, filter cleaning)
- Operate a forklift/reach truck to move and store materials
- Work collaboratively across site teams (H&S, Maintenance, OEE, HR)

Desirable:
- Minimum 1 year’s experience in a production/manufacturing environment
- Valid FLT (Forklift Truck) licence
