This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced solicitor who is keen to work on high-profile, innovative and business-critical matters across areas such as AI, cybersecurity, data protection, digital regulation, intellectual property and complex commercial contracts.
The successful candidate will join a highly regarded and growing team, advising a strong mix of domestic and international clients across a broad range of sectors.

The Role
The successful candidate will work on a wide range of technology and innovation matters, including:

Advising domestic and international clients on strategic and business-critical legal issues

Drafting and negotiating large-scale technology and commercial contracts

Advising on data protection, privacy, data governance and cybersecurity matters
-
Supporting clients on artificial intelligence, operational resilience and digital regulation

Advising on digital services, online platforms, e-commerce and content regulation
-
Working on transactional and advisory intellectual property matters

Collaborating with specialist teams on high-value client projects

Managing and supporting junior solicitors on advisory matters
-
Contributing to business development, client relationship management and thought leadership
The Person
The ideal candidate will be an experienced technology solicitor with:

Strong experience in technology, privacy, data protection, IP and/or commercial contracts

Excellent technical legal skills and a strong academic background

A commercial, client-focused approach

The ability to manage a varied workload with minimal supervision

Strong drafting, negotiation and advisory skills

Experience supporting or managing junior solicitors

An interest in business development and client relationship management

A proactive, ambitious and collaborative approach
